A user on the GOG.com forum posted about using "NTcore Memory Utility" to patch Swat 4's game .exe so I immediately started wondering if this was useful for Swat 3. Below is the description of what it does:
This very little tool patches x86 executables in order to let them have 4GB (instead of only 2) of virtual memory on x64 platforms.

Swat 3 does seem to have limits on map sizes and 3D model sizes. Not sure if this would help. Perhaps would help if someone also had a lot of mods activated? I haven't spent much time researching. Perhaps a future thing to examine.
