Hello, there are still a lot of very low resolution textures in the game, including weapons, officers, terrorists, trees, objects, landscapes in different levels, etc, will it be ever possible to improve it?

Yes it is possible and I hope to in the future.
Right now I am concentrating on upgrading all of the map textures first. The mod "team" really is just me at this point and I work slowly.
For instance, with the next release, you will see a texture upgrade for the Missile Launchers in the game. While I was working on Mission G (the construction yard) the missile launchers stuck out like a sore thumb. I decided to improve them.

swat 3 was the first game I ever created mods for, and I give Sierra all the credit for making such an open system that was so mod friendly as well as SJ who has kept the game fresh after all these years with last resort and in many ways it is a better experience today than way back in 1999. Late '90s going into the early 2000s was an incredible time for me personally as I was freshly graduated from college with the internet revolution happening simultaneously. I have always been more interested in being a producer than a consumer so learning programs such as photoshop, illustrator, web design with HTML first, javascript second and later on dreamweaver just came naturally to me. Back in that time period I became fascinated with texture art which led to working with 3D programs such as poser, facegen, 3d me now, uv mapper, etc. for the past 25 years in which I have learned quite a bit. Revisiting swat 3 is quite a treat I must admit, it's the best grown up toy anyone could ever hope for in many ways.

Interesting stuff. I have never played much with the "handsup" kind of stuff.
